As a security officer, I worked at an apartment complex for the mentally and physically disabled. I truly enjoyed this job, and I was sad to leave it when I returned to school. However, the tenants inspired me to take some Psychology courses, so I could truly understand the disorders that plagued them. This job opened my eyes to an interest I may have never discovered....

Although my employment with the Honors Department was brief, I remained affiliated with the program throughout my time at Greenville Tech. This job gave me the opportunity to refine my computer skills as I worked in MS Word, Excel, and Access. I also greatly improved my people skills. How would you describe your time at Lander University?
I have truly enjoyed my time at Lander University. I focused on upper-level Biology courses and found my true calling in Immunology and Microbiology. I will be graduating on May 10th, 2008, and it is my dream to go to graduate school and earn a PhD so I can someday work in research.

At Greenville Technical College, I discovered my love for science. In my second semester, a new Biotechnology program was implemented. I fell in love! I knew then that I would be perfectly content to spend my life in a laboratory. I was also a member of the Honors program which gave me a great foundation to take with me to Lander University....
