How would you describe your time at Brooks Institute of Photogr...?
The Brooks Institute of Photography is a "learn by doing" kind of school. It was an intense learning environment because every session was only eight weeks long, and there were deadlines constantly.
I was immersed in the photography world whether it be pulling off a professional photo shoot, learning from other photographers (faculty, students, alumni, speakers, friends, interviews, etc.), or endlessly researching in order to pull off that professional photo shoot. The school really challenges you, and a lot of people did not make it to the end.
I learned the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. I worked as a team seeing projects from pre-production to post-production (including Photoshop and printing), i recruited models for photo shoots, i worked with many different brands of equipment, and i learned how to always be prepared.
I also learned the business side of photography by taking Accounting, Finance, Basic Business, Business Law, and Marketing....
