Handled IT Help Desk, focusing on Mac support but handling PC issues as well, for a business with 300+ PCs and 60+ Macs. Handled software and hardware support issues on Macs running OS X Panther, Tiger, and Leopard, and PCs from Dell running Windows XP Pro. Software used and supported includes Microsoft Office 2000, 2003, and 2007, Track-It, Adobe Creative Suite 2 and 3 for Mac OS X, Citrix remote desktop software, Canon and Leaf Capture photographic software, Ghost hard drive imaging software, and a variety of internal custom-written applications. Handled integration of Macs into an Active Directory network. Handled setup and usage of HP and Xerox printers in a variety of locations. Handled setup and support of laptops, desktops, and printers in several remote office locations around uptown Dallas. Performed IT support duties for remote auctions, handling on-site setup and support in locations such as St. Louis and Long Beach for auctions with 30-40+ staff, including setup of laptops, setup of routers and wireless access points, and setup of a Bosch security camera system with eight ethernet-based cameras recording to a DVR recording unit. Handled role of Senior Technician, working closely with the Desktop Support and Networking supervisors on larger projects such as the Mac Active Directory integration, and training/providing guidance for newly hired technicians....
