Configured DOORS server for new DOORS implementation.
Imported about 200 documents into DOORS, writing VBA macros in Word and scripts in DXL to clean the documents for better DOORS formatting.
Implemented custom menus to improve end user experience and make the tool easier to use.
Developed and
delivered classroom-style tailored training for the project???s use of DOORS.
Advised on attributes and schema and requirements management processes.
Integrated DOORS with HP Quality Center using Telelogic DOORSConnect/TestDirector.

How would you describe your time at BAE Systems?

Responsible for DOORS standards, processes, client and server configuration across programs.
Responsible for knowing status of requirements and requirement-related activities for Future Combat Systems Manned Ground Vehicles, FCS Armed Robotic Vehicles, Bradley A3/A3 BFIST, Bradley EV, and MRAP
programs.
Supported all levels of requirements users: from providing LSI engineers data needed for RCM activities, to supporting systems engineering managers metrics needs, to SE requirements engineers, to software management and SW engineers, down to testers and CSIL users. Worked with legal and data security to ensure DOORS compliance with company policies.
Consolidated two separate schemas. Fixed access rights and link mapping issues in the process.
Saved company hundreds of thousands of dollars by obtaining master ownership of DOORS modules.
Assisted with developing a customized module transfer process between various DOORS databases. Completely automated the export part of the process.
Updated over one hundred users??? client configuration from within the DOORS tool itself, saving the IT department many hours since they didn???t visit each user individually.
Generated documents with DOORS, DOORS WEXP, and DocExpress.
Converted Bradley RTM database to DOORS. Wrote DXL to create DOORS views automatically based on original RTM data.
Interviewed applicants for DOORS positions. Assigned tasks to team members.
Administered RTM requirements database and software for Bradley program.
Participated in peer reviews to ensure that all requirements were complete, valid, and verifiable.
Developed solution using ODBC and Microsoft Access to overcome RTM???s limitations and generate accurate statistics 100% of the time straight from the Oracle database hosting RTM.
Followed Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) processes that were previously established and gave input into improving them specifically for the Bradley program. Helped systems engineering achieve CMMI Level 3.
Entered and tracked changes and defects with Harvest 5.
