How would you describe your time at Dupont Hospital?

Lead Registrar-- $15.30 hourly. (Sept 2005- Currently) E.R. Registrar (May 2003-Sept 2005)
Job Skills: Responsible for 30 registrars & 2 Financial Counselors responsible for their work especially when back up is needed, handling patient information, directing patients, multitasking, scheduling
staff, Insurance verification, collection, obtaining orders from Physicians offices, maintaining minimal wait times for our guests, Data entry, accuracy, empathy, organization, operating spectra link phone systems, time management, working with Star computer hospital software, pre-registering Guests over the phone, running computer generated reports/schedules, trouble shooting, helping other teams with computer or registration questions. HIPAA Compliant and EMTALA compliant. (Excel Class taken & CPR certified).
Basically, I am responsible to have the knowledge and resource to make things in our department run smoothly so no one knows how much work is required behind the scenes.

How would you describe your time at Indiana Purdue at Ft. Wayne?

I went to school for Nursing. Being an average student I was not competitive enough to get into the program. I then Transferred to Ivy Tech again unable to get in. I then Transferred for my masters to Indiana Weslyan University , I am still a career student. No degrees earned as of yet.
