With 12 years in Supply Chain Management experience, I was responsible for the global leveraging of buying power and identifying opportunities in the a variety of commodities for multiple manufacturing sites.
We successfully passed annual audits, ISO Internal audits and Government CPSR (Comprehensive Purchasing Systems Review) audits. The US Government recently recognized our division for our achievements in support of Small Business.
I was responsible for daily operation of Supply Chain in support of a very dynamic manufacturing environment with a focus on Cost Reduction, Inventory Control, Commodity Management, Pricing Analysis Reviews, Supplier Management and Performance, Procurement procedures review and approval. Procurement of all Capital Expenditures, MRO Procurement and Inventory.
Monitored department cost savings, avoidance and programs with documented recurring annual Cost Savings. Supplier Managerment included Partnership Agreements, Blanket Purchase Orders, Kanban???s and LTA programs for variety of commodities, reducing and managing "Key" supplier base, reduced inventory and reduced department workload.
