Assessed individuals' employability and life circumstances following the hurricanes in a five county territory. Worked with a multi-disciplinary team, including state and federal agencies, to assist these individuals into a positive reintegration in either their home community or to re-locate to a new community.

Developed and coordinated the implementation of vocational rehabilitation programs with the vocational rehabilitation counselor for consumers in a ten county territory which encompassed 55 high schools.

**Wrote successful grant proposal to fund a hands-on, mini-technology center for consumers who were deaf and hard of hearing to select appropriate technology for their employment and personal needs....

**Selected to participate in a four week Leadership Training Institute
**Co-authored legislation (Alabama Senate Joint Resolution No. 45) to recognize American Sign Language as the native language of Deaf Alabamians which encouraged schools and universities to treat English as a second language for individuals who are deaf.
**Developed and implemented case management software program which led to the research and implementation of a network case management software system. Hand-selected to pilot the network case management system and train other counselors statewide after its’ implementation.
