How would you describe your time at Wave Broadband - Formerly RCN?
My 8 years at RCN were great! I started off as a Direct Sales Rep selling telecom services (voice, video and data) to residential and small business consumers. I then became a Trainer and Recruiter hiring sales reps and training them on product and services as well as sale skills. I also worked in the HR department processing all employee paperwork for payroll, benefits and disability insurances. The last 5 years I did marketing and was responsible for project managing and executing all media communications from direct mail, print media, outdoor media and all field market collateral. A new company called Wave Broadband bought out RCN and moved the marketing up to the Kirkland, Wa office. I was laid off in April 2008....
