What advice do you have for someone who wants a job like yours?

Keep your mind and your option open. Know the direction you are heading but not too worry about long term - after all step-by-step is the basic and it will take you there if you know what you are doing at every step.

I am currently doing engineering/technical program management at Live Search product group, and prior to my current gig I successfully incubated a small business VoIP phone system solution which was funded directly by Bill Gates.
