This position was so much fun. I learned more about TV and radio then I ever imagined. I had the pleasure of being the person at the front desk, but also got to help the various stations in different ways. I would type the program schedule for the TV station; was trained to assist in preparing the commercial logs for both radio stations; was responsible for preparing the gift certificates for prizes for all stations; and had the pleasure of personally assisting the owner of these compies who also was the mayor of the city of Minot. I gained some experience in preparing some of his government documents and letters when he did not have time to return to his mayor's office to have his secretary there prepare them.
