Hazard Insurance Claims Specialist: Responsible for processing insurance claims for
homeowners that have experience a loss to their property. Duties include setting up the initial claim with receipt of the check from the homeowner, making a decision as to weather or not to release funds to the customer or to monitor the claim while utilizing the client loss draft procedures. Also responsible for sending out the appropriate correspondence to the homeowner, ordering inspections making draw request, balancing customers individual general ledgers, depositing funds into the appropriate buckets and handling departmental escalated issues as well as assisting management with reports, callbacks and miscellaneous projects.
Hazard Insurance Specialist: Responsible for handling excessive inbound calls in a multi client call center environment. Closely assist customers, insurance agents, investors and internal staff with mortgage insurance inquiries. Also assist in training new representatives once they are on the floor with following client standards and company policies and procedures. Held the position as team captain; closely assist management with escalated issues, excessive research, handling incoming correspondence, running reports as well as departmental callbacks. Researched and resolved exception items received via fax, reports, client referrals or correspondence. Also responsible for researching and depositing refunds and return checks back to customer escrow accounts as well as making sure that the escrow is in balance for trial analysis....
