How would you describe your time at Ryan-Young Interiors?

Technical Design Drafter. Transferring designer mark-ups into AutoCAD. Creating art walls & window elevations, drawing built-ins, specification floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, paint elevations and tile diagrams. Projects mainly consisted of model home designs from around the U.S. and China. Also worked on projects for a few private residences, high-rise buildings and yacht interiors. I am used to working with many designers in a fast-paced environment where my great communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail comes through. I am always finished on schedule.Using AutoCAD 2002-2006.

It was a fast-paced, exciting environment. I enjoyed working at Ryan-Young very much. My coworkers were great people with a fun attitude.

Vann Engineering November 1996 to December 2003
AutoCad Drafter

How would you describe your time at Vann Engineering?

Mechanical/ Plumbing ACAD drafter. I also did electrical drafting when needed. Extensive experience in setting up jobs to office standards, working directly with engineer, transferring mark-ups into Autocad, setting up all layers and x-ref's (from architect's drawing files), drawing architectural backgrounds when no ACAD files are available (when only hand-drafted architectural plans exist from architect) and quality control of overall drafting for projects. Drawing standard blocks for use on jobs. Printing sets of finished construction documents. Very high level of accuracy with few revisions. Using Autocad R-14 thru AutoCAD 2002.

I worked directly with Brian Vann, the owner/engineer of the company. We were a two person operation. With Brian as the engineer, I handled every aspect of the AutoCad creation of the construction drawings, down to the printing & delivery of the sets of plans.
I still do freelance work with Brian Vann whenever I have time and he needs my help.
We worked on many, many varied commercial/industrial projects over a span of 7 years. We worked on Mechanical & Plumbing projects from high rise apartment buildings to hospitals and everything in between.
