Create online promotion for new website. Generated in excess of 20,000 hits first hour of site change. Implemented RSS feed to make WKRN.com first television broadcast station to be on the Yahoo! News Local feed. Help Sausage and Young Broadcasting beta test new software live. Perform editorial duties for the news part of site. Edit video with software still in beta (AVI/MPEG Splitter). Capture images from video for use in packages because the first frames captured by the video program were unusable most cases (FX Frame Capture). Research stories for web. Wrote the entire story database from January -March. Trained staff on how to write and update news using software. Did relevant liason work with Sausage on problems with developing software. Contributed story ideas to morning meetings (production work) using internet sources. Edited and uploaded Daily Lottery and Weather video to site several times a day. Did support for entire site 24/7....
