How would you describe your time at Guideline?
I joined this organization as a Consultant on the Technology Team, where I performed secondary research in technology, telecommunications and related markets to meet specific client needs, and composed documents to provide clients with actionable insights based on my findings. Promoted to Consultant 2 in 1996, then Senior Consultant in 1998.
I was promoted to team leader, then Group Leader for the Technology, Information, Communications Group, and in 2002 took on Group Leadership for the Industrial Products & Services Group as well. During this tenure I also participated in many service-related committees (including the Levels of Service Committee and the Client Retention Task Force) and additional activities, including writing the company???s first Trend Report (on nanotechnology).
When the Consulting Services Division was reorganized in 2004, I became a Relationship Manager, assigned to ensure the satisfaction of 110 accounts. The company changed its name to Guideline in early 2006, and I now am a Research Director managing approximately 90 accounts...
