What kind of job are you looking for?

I would love a job that allows me to combine my writing skills with my desire to become an activist. A job where I can utilize my leadership and planning skills would be extremely rewarding, and I would love to be part of a dedicated team.

My goal was to assist customers the best that I could by helping them locate and choose products that were desirable to them. I also acted as cashier which involved handling money and checks. How would you describe your time at Wicomico County Board of Ed...?

Being a teacher's assistant in the Wicomico County STARS program has been my most rewarding job experience. I was able to work with elementary school children that genuinely appreciated all the love they were given. During my three years with this program, I supervised students during their snack and group time, instructed a half hour reading or math lesson, and assisted them with their homework. During my years at Salisbury University, I embraced the writing culture as much as possible. I participated in as many writing workshops as I could and, as a senior, wrote for the school's newspaper, The Flyer. I also embraced my second major, gender studies, with an open mind. I became involved in numerous progressive student groups and even founded my own, Salisbury Activists for Gender Equality (SAGE).
