A great learning experience in the medical field. I was given extensive training and skill in a variety of different positions in the office.That included using electronic pt. files with eclinical works, I inputted pt. info into the computer and scheduled pt. appointments according to the 4 drs. template, I checked in/out of pts., accepted copays, verified pts. insurance, requested referrals or prior authorizations if needed., I faxed request for medical records from other drs. offices, and sent out new pt. forms to new pts. scheduled. I answered a 4-line phone system, took messages, distributed calls accordingly, and I returned pt. calls if needed in a timely manner.
