Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

People who have a mentor in their life are very fortunate. I would have loved to have a mentor. The closest I got to a mentor was in a real estate seminar where I learned that I can do anything I want as long as I work hard at it.

How would you describe your time at Identity Plus?

I grew with this company since it opened, it was a wonderful experience because I learned how a business runs and was able to use all my skills to create my unique position in the company. I created the Graphic Design Department and trained people to do the work such as Graphic Design, adapting the client's artwork for production in plastic, creating prototypes for new products, dealt directly with the client's art departments, supervised the process to ensure quality of the product which required extreme attention to detail. I finished 4 years at USIU and received a BFA but what I learned in Platt College in less than a year is what has allowed me to work in something that I really enjoy.

How would you describe your time at USIU/Alliant?

I went to USIU because I always liked the theater, singing and dancing. I was able to be in many theatrical productions and graduated as a singer (soprano) and dancer. I soon realized it was a tough business to stay in so I became a real estate agent before I returned to being creative in Graphic Design.... read more
