How would you describe your time at BCP Dermatology Clinic?

I worked full time, 48 to 56 hours a week. I am in charge of at least three clients to seven clients per shift.

My roles and responsibilities include:
-preparing instruments used for minor surgeries, drainage and irrigation, electrodessication and curettage, and biopsies
-assisting the dermatologist during procedures
-perform basic skin care procedures such as acne surgery, iontophoresis, microderm abrasion, irrigation and drainage, and electrodessication
-observation and assessment of clients
administering mediactions (oral, topical, intradermal, muscular)
-educating the clients in the aspect of preventive, curative and rehab of skin care
-wound and lesion assessment
-infection control
-wound dressing
-pain control
-maintenance of instruments, and ensuring a clean and healthy working environment
-charting and documentation of client profile
-maintaining inventory of medicines, medical supplies; ordering stocks

clients include:
-clients with Hansen's disease
-all types of acne and warts
-all types of dermatitis
-herpes simplex and herpes zoster
-alopecia
-eczema and keratosis
-parasitic infestation
-skin infections
-skin allergies

I completed the nursing course and had a fifty one day intensive practicum. I was rotated from ER, to NICU. I had exposure on other areas like geriatrics, pediatrics etc. etc..
