How would you describe your time at Colly Farms Cotton Limited?

The best company I've ever worked for! Colly was Australia's largest cotton producer and global merchandising organization (turnover A$400m).
I worked alongside the Managing Director assisting in his day-to-day functions of developing,
analyzing, and implementing strategies for the Colly

its subsidiaries. In 1993, I took charge of the company's brand management along with the development and implementation of its marketing communications strategies at the national and international level.
Some accomplishments included:
Representing the company and the industry, nationally and internationally;
Repositioning the company from Australia's largest cotton producer to a global merchandising
organization;
Expanding turnover from $120 million to $400 million as part of the core leadership team;
Stimulating global operations by developing the Group's export
market development plans; Securing $1.6m in federal grants to support export market development initiatives;
Successfully listing the Colly Group on the ASX (June 96); and Used "industry-first" merchandising strategies and consistent press coverage to turn around public sentiment, market share and profitability.
