How would you describe your time at Zona Tropical Publications?
Zona Tropical Publications is a small publishing company based in San Jose, Costa Rica. The company specializes in English-language books on Costa Rican culture and natural history. My tasks included
* copyediting and proofreading manuscripts;
* managing book projects from concept to publication;
* working directly with authors, illustrators, and photographers;
* working with designers to develop design and layout;
* working with freelance copyeditors;
* arranging printing of books in Hong Kong and China;
* overseeing licensing, copublication, and distribution of books outside of Costa Rica (including the US and Europe);
* working closely with Zona Tropical's publishing partner, Cornell University Press, and its editorial department....
