How would you describe your time at English Center for Internat...?
This was a fun and challenging work experience. At ECIW I was responsible for leading a small informal conversation group for learners of english. My students ranged in age from 17- 60. Their english language skills varied just as greatly. Getting this diverse group of women to chat informally in their non-native language was not an especially easy task. I tried to come up with creative exercises and activities that would help them build their language skills and engage with each other....

How would you describe your time at Whole Earth Provision?
I held this job during high school and my early college years. It was more than just a retail job- I enjoyed working for a small company that cared about their employees. We were highly trained in understanding our products (high end outdoor equipment- think: REI)
We were given freedom to design displays and work directly with company management. Customer service was stressed in this job. I overcame my innate shyness and gained valuable people skills....

This was perhaps my most challenging work experience. I started this job at the age of 15. At CAMP camp, counsellors worked one on one for children with disabilities. We helped each camper to participate in the summer camp activities to the best of their ability. During my summer there, I worked with campers who were limited to wheelchairs, campers with developmental delays, campers with autism, and campers with a variety of behavioral problems....

How would you describe your time at Mills College?
Mills has provided me with an interesting and varied educational experience. I have made great friends and taken a variety of different courses. The liberal arts curriculum at Mills has truly pushed me to broaden my horizons.

My first and only semester at Southwestern was an interesting experience. I left after the end of this semester in order to seek and education and a social environment that better met my needs.
