What have your past employers loved about you?

In my years working retail at Whole Earth Provision Co. employers and co-workers often complimented my patience and grace under pressure. Even in dealing with rude and christmas-crazed shoppers, I was able to be polite and keep my cool.

This was a fun and challenging work experience. At ECIW I was responsible for leading a small informal conversation group for learners of english. My students ranged in age from 17- 60. Their english language skills varied just as greatly. Getting this diverse group of women to chat informally in their non-native language was not an especially easy task. I held this job during high school and my early college years. It was more than just a retail job- I enjoyed working for a small company that cared about their employees. We were highly trained in understanding our products (high end outdoor equipment- think: REI)

We helped each camper to participate in the summer camp activities to the best of their ability.
