Responsible for liaison with senior and legislative leadership for Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, US Public Health, and NOAA representing over 12,000 membership, nation-wide. Representative on the Navy Marine Advisory council to Secretary of the Navy. Briefed the Employer Support for Guard and Reserve Committee. Reported to the Executive Director on legislation, policy and equipment issues affecting the Naval Services. Association liaison with Department of Defense on TRICARE Health, and TRICARE for Reservists. Contacted Members of the Senate and House and their staffs on Sea Services and Health care issues. Developed legislation, testimony, position papers, congressional letters, and magazine articles pertaining to ROA concerns. Worked with other Administration Agencies.
