What kind of job are you looking for?

I would like to be hired for a position which would allow me to apply my international experience in a professional context. I am always looking for new challenges and ways in which I can improve my overall skill set as a globally-minded individual.

A little about myself: I am a recently
returned US Peace Corps volunteer. I served in Mongolia from 2005 to 2007 as an English teacher (TEFL). During the service term, I had to develop self-sufficiency and motivate myself to succeed in this very challenging work situation. Supervision from the main office was limited, thus I had to constantly stay focused on my mission as an 'unofficial cultural ambassador' for the United States.

My background includes 2 years of overseas working experience (with the Peace Corps), as well as a combined 2 years of customer service experience in the printing/publishing and hospitality industries. In addition, I have an in-depth knowledge of Chinese culture, with travel experience in both China and Taiwan.

For today's rapidly evolving business environment, my perspective on international affairs would be an asset to virtually all companies.
