What path did you take to your current career?
I've been in "Sales" my whole life, regardless of what particular job I've been doing. There is a level of salesmanship required in everything that is done. Though, it is called by many names. Whether it is an "End Cap" of new product in a store or the personal touch that a Sales Person can give you. The product has to be useful, or presented in such a way, that the customer can't live without it....

How would you describe your time at Two Sisters' Design?
I loved helping people transform their living spaces, indoors and out. Since I didn't advertise, most of my business was either by word of mouth or prospective clients watching us work on a neighbor's house. I still had to SELL The Job, because I did High End Work and it didn't come cheap. But, in the end, every client I ever had, raved about the quality of work and the short time it took to complete the job....

How would you describe your time at Sweetwater Bookstore & Gifts?
This store was opened because I am passionate about reading. Books are one of the easiest ways to travel the world, space or underwater without leaving the comfort of an easy chair. I implemented programs for both the community & the school districts to get free books after spending a particular amount in the store. It worked well, until our store flooded, not once, but twice. Cashiering, customer service, sells of books, coffee & other various drinks, marketing, zoning, merchandising, scheduling book signings with local authors, member of the BBB....

How would you describe your time at Glowing Spirit Moon Counsel...?
This was a fun job, most of the time. I got to meet interesting people, help to calm their fears in regard to seeing a counselor, as well as taking care of the front office. From typing billing statements to arranging seminar's, this job really covered the whole spectrum in variety, which I liked.

How would you describe your time at Mary Kay Cosmetics?
Wow! To work in a field that I had so much experience in, (I had been cutting people's hair, doing their makeup and dressing them for success for years) and to actually get paid to do what came natural for me, was wonderful. I loved sharing my knowledge with others, teaching them how to apply makeup and pick out the right clothes. I was living in Minden, NV. at the time, but had clients in California, and Colorado as well....

How would you describe your time at Prudential Insurance Company?
I loved this job, though I kind of fell into it by accident. My father was a Top producer for Prudential and needed help. He asked me if I wanted to give it a try, so I did, and took to it, like a fish to water. Not having any specific territory, it was up to me to find a niche. Riverside, San Bernardino, Palm Springs, and Orange County, CA were all fair game, so I went for it, selling Business Insurance for the most part....

How would you describe your time at Fullerton Junior College?
I took several classes in education primarily because I thought I wanted to open a Day Care Facility. And, then I had the opportunity to fill in for someone who went on vacation. I knew that wasn't what I was supposed to do. However, this one semester of classes did help me to be a better mom.
