Deputy Chief Engineer (Process)
How would you describe your time at MOL Oil and Gas Co. BV?
??? Provide technical expertise for Process Engineering design and development for projects associated with oil and gas surface facilities as Lead Process Engineer reporting directly to the Projects & Technical Services Manager.
??? Review/comment/approve engineering work performed by contractors engaged for FEED, EPC contracts and other technical studies. Such engineering work includes development of PFDs/P&IDs, process simulations, technical/equipment specifications and evaluation reports.
??? Prepare technical sections of Invitations to Bid (ITBs) sent to contractors/consultants, evaluate bid proposals and recommend award of contract. Also provide support on technical aspects during contract negotiation stage.
??? Perform lead project engineering functions in assigned projects to monitor work, quality, timeline and cost as per contract. Involves extensive communication with contractors to ensure that the required parameters are met.
??? Prepare proposals or screen options for various projects during conceptual stage by developing P&IDs, carrying out preliminary process calculations (using HYSYS), developing conceptual project timelines and performing preliminary cost evaluations.
??? Give presentations on work progress/challenges and respond to queries on assigned projects in the quarterly committee meetings of Joint Venture Partners attended by the Managing Directors and Senior Management from joint venture companies....
