Nathaniel Adams

I had many influential teachers throughout my college career, however the man that helped me the most was a hockey coach of mine. I have known this man for about ten years. I played for him when I was only 15 years old in travel leagues and later played junior hockey for him. With him it was always school first, hockey second. He taught me how to respect other people aswell as myself. He taught me to have class and be confident in myself. He didn't want me to just be successful on the ice but in everyday life. I will never forget a part of one speech he gave me. "Don't bring passion and intensity only to hockey, but everything you do in life." He helped me more then he realizes....
