Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

I had many influential teachers throughout my college career, however the man that helped me the most was a hockey coach of mine. I have known this man for about ten years. I played for him when I was only 15 years old in travel leagues and later played junior hockey for him. With him it was always school first, hockey second. He taught me how to respect other people aswell as myself. He taught me to have class and be confident in myself. He didn't want me to just be successful on the ice but in everyday life. I will never forget a part of one speech he gave me. "Don't bring passion and intensity only to hockey, but everything you do in life." He helped me more then he realizes.... read more

At Bakers of Milford I was able to learn the basics of running and maitaining a business. More specificily the culinary aspects of the company. However I am ready for a new challenge upon finishing school, going into an area that I can use my degree.

I had a wonderful experience at Madonna.I recieved my B.A. with a concentration on history and am pursuing a minor in sociology. The classes are small at Madonna which aloud me to really get to know my professors on a more personal level. I was also able to get to know my fellow classmates better, which I believe helped in the area of working with others. I would do it all over again.... read more
