What are the most challenging aspects of your job?

The most challenging would be researching an account whose payment was posted incorrectly months ago and every payment since then has been posted wrong, going back, researching that first payment and getting the account straight. It is like one huge jigsaw puzzle!

How would you describe your time at APD?

Built the credit and accounts receivable department from the ground up, department went from 1 person to 6 within 10 years, as the company grew the demand for more employees was needed. I trained the staff in collections, cash application and reconciliation, credit analysis, and various A/R duties. I was highly depended on for being to work every day, approving orders, remembering accounts and info on the spot, I was told by several co-workers and sales division that I was the backbone of the accounting department.... read more
