Nishith Srivastava

Recently joined Cortaal Global, a Strategic Consulting and Human Capital Advisory firm headquatered in Singapore. I am responsible to setup & grow Cortaal's business in India, Middle East and South East Asia.

Before this, I was a PG Specialist in the shared services research center of Egon Zehnder, the world's largest private human capital consulting company and helped them in setting-up the KM processes on a global sourcing model. In this role, I was responsible to identify research and KM needs of the firm, create SLAs, get a mandate and then transition the process.

Before this I specialized my skills in setting-up processes in offshore (India) research/knowledge management/shared services centers for global companies e.g. Supply Chain PG in Knowledge Center of Heidrick & Struggles, Knowledge Center for RNCOS and (indirectly) an Offshore Knowledge Center for a renowned consulting company in New Delhi.

This is how my career has progressed till date - In June 2000, I started my stint with Business Research, Knowledge Management & Strategy Consulting and since then have worked in companies like RocSearch, Heidrick & Struggles and Egon Zehnder International. My exposure to Knowledge Management started with Heidrick & Struggles where I initiated and set up the Supply Chain Practice which involved setting up Knowledge Management processes for SCM practice, creating new products and research services etc.

In the next 8-10 years from now, I aim to become a strategic consultant in one of the top 5 consulting firms. Else I would create a truly Indian Management Consulting firm - a company which could compete with Big 4 Consulting firms on a global basis. I want to do the same in Indian Consulting sector which Laxmi Mittal did in Steel Industry. Just waiting for the right time and right opportunity.......
