How would you describe your time at CPOC?
I am currently working on the DECA Customer Focus Team. I announce jobs out on Civilian Operations Online and USA Jobs. I make corrections and work with management to ensure that the vacancy that is being announced is correct. I build and maintain requisitions to ensure updated electronic case files. Provide human resources advice and assistance to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding recruitment and staffing, position management and classification, benefits, retirement, and management employee relations. I have built requisions and researched human resources issues utilizing the Code of Federal Regulations, U.S. Code, DOD and Army regulations, Office of Personnel Management resources, Vet Guide. I determine and correct complex pay problems and coordinate with DFAS to ensure corrected data flows to payroll. Train, advise, and provided guidance to the staffing assistants on new PAL system reconding requistion for PPP clearance and newly assigned candidates. Adjudicate and apply veteran#s preference for applicants who claim prior military service.I have helped set up the DECA team by making decisions and issuing guidance on certain aspects of Human Resources.I have coded numerous actions for employees of the US Army and have worked pay problems also. I have been selected for a work group that will work on Training and Development of the worker's at CPOC. I processed personnel actions for GS, wage grade, and NSPS employees to include appointments, separations, and promotions, changes to lower grade, reassignments, transfers, and mass change actions. I review personnel actions for accuracy of codes, supporting documents and if the authority codes are correct. I coordinate with my team to insure that all PPRT, QC, and MyBiz tickets are processed timely. I currently work on DCPDS, DCPS, Portal/ CPOL, ART, OPF tracker, SF 50 database, CSU, SCD Calculator, Resumix, VAB, and Microsoft Word in my everyday job. I have started training on working with PPP for my team. I was responsible for getting the PPP matches to the specialists for working. I answered questions of other CPAC's based on their PPP matches and researched in the PPP Manuel for answers....

How would you describe your time at Walmart?
Maintains files and records in accoradance with prescibed filing system. Posts changes/amendments and withdraws meaterial in accordance with pertinent regulations and procedures. Searches files for required information and data. Selects, extract and consolidate data for operatinal reports. Received and verified change in fund. Initiated mark up and down. Prepared and made store depoits also reports. Reconciling cash rceipts engaged in sales, inventory, made price changes, rosters, tables, charts, etc. and type various material incidental to the work. Use word processsing software to input/edit correspondence regulations and manual/automated spell checks to assure proper arrangements, grammatical and spelling accuracy of final copy. Greets and welcome visitors, Answers phones, takes messages, or refers calls, as appropriate. Tracked daily UPS shipments and their reports. Maintained supply records and ordered supplies, 50%.
