How would you describe your time at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo?
I earned my bachelor's degree at Cal Poly in Computer Engineering, with a concentration in Robotics. I was actively involved in the Cal Poly Robotics Club for my entire time there, and helped organize and grow the club by serving as Webmaster, Treasurer, and Vice President. I contributed to and advised several interdisciplinary team robotics projects, which provided me with valuable teamwork and hands-on technical experience, while also pursuing a few of my own personal projects that I demonstrated to other members in the club.
One of the highlights of my academic career was leading a team of three other CPE majors and one ME major during my computer engineering capstone project sequence. We had a real world client and were tasked with designing and implementing a power monitoring panel for a Red Cross emergency communications trailer to meet the client's requirements. Although our team was unable to complete all aspects of the project by the deadline, I gained a large amount of technical, practical, and project management skills from this intense experience....
