ducting research on the stability, application, and scalability of fluorescent compounds.
*Satisfied customer needs through optimizing dopant concentrations, firing programs, and
environmental conditions for
phosphor crystallization and classifying phosphor according
to particle size, morphology, and quantum efficiency.
*Increased phosphor lifetime by 120% with passive CVD and colloidal chemistry thin films.
*Utilized Ocean Optics software and a UV laser to build an in-situ monitoring system for
electrophoretic phosphor deposition on LEDs.
*Successfully demonstrated the scalability of phosphors by designing and building a con-
tinuous manufacturing system with the aid of reducing gases and oxygen sensors.
