How would you describe your time at emerson college?
At Emerson, I learned how to integrate advertising, public relations, direct/database marketing, sales, sales promotion/event marketing, and e-communication. Through varied courses and projects, I also learned how to develop strategic Integrated Marketing Communications plans within the context of the overarching organization/ marketing plans.
Through the Capstone Course, I developed a portfolio with a comprehensive IMC Plan for a startup technology firm launching a new service; conducted primary and secondary research, integrated the findings into the overall marketing mix, created a plans book and presented to the client organization that approved the plan.
One of my individual accomplishments was doing a Directed Study on the application of brand development and management techniques in business to business selling situations by consumer packaged goods marketers. These CPG marketers were some of the top selling fruit juice brands in the New England market.
Other notable projects included working in a team for the branding of a juice product to relaunch it and position it against V8, building a media plan for a foreign travel resort and an advertising and sales promotion plan for Nestle....
