A small or medium sized workplace with a close-knit team- an informal set up, deep respect and trust in each other's capabilities and intentions, where people are fired with passion and go out of their way to make the common effort successful. Something which is not encumbered with archaic corporate processes which delay and bar the progress. An Eye Opener!

I was there only for about 4 months but I got to learn a lot about how the energymeter manufacturing industry works - how they meet the Govt regulations and how a low-cost high volume product is made and sold and supported.

About 54 engineers were reporting to me and the
company was turning around in improving its products.

My contribution was small but significant. I tried to bring a mindset in R & D Engineers that the rest of the company is their internal customer and they must delight their customer.

I was teaching undergrad and graduate students in a reputed engineering college of Central India. This was the time when the computer education was spreading in the country and there was acute need of experienced and mature teachers.

I taught digital design,
