I am a 100% team player. I am completely loyal and dedicated to my job and my work and wouldn't find it rewarding otherwise. How would you describe your time at Saxbys Coffee?

This job has presented me with great learning opportunities. With Saxbys Coffee being a franchise, I was given the opportunity to design promotional ads and coupons for the Centerville, Ohio location that were printed for the public and used in the store. This experience allowed me to be in contact with other professionals, which I feel has aided in my development as a professional graphic designer. Also, I have grown as a designer as I have been able to see which marketing ideas work best for the public. Besides being a barista for Saxbys, I feel that the graphics work I have been able to do for them has been the biggest 'perk' of the job.... read more

How would you describe your time at mount vernon nazarene unive...?

This University proved to be "Life Changing," as their motto goes. I entered this school as an education major, but found out quickly that my passion was elsewhere. It didn't take long dabbling in art classes when I had the epiphany that I could make a living making art. So, after much deliberation I made the choice to major in Graphic Design and take a minor in Business. I saw my major and minor working hand-in-hand if I wanted to be able to successfully communicate business ideas through printed design materials (Marketing). The relationships I built within the Graphic Design community at my University helped me embody what a designer is, and my rigorous classes have left me with a palatable professional-grade skill set, of which I am very confident.... read more
