My time with SCORE! was a great opportunity for me to improve my managerial skills as well as my recruiting/training skills. I learned how to effectively run a learning center through multitasking and delegating.

A great chance for me to improve my sales skills. Working with a diverse group of customers, I was able to increase my adaptability skills. In addition, I was able to learn more about promotions (to attract customers and increase revenue) and assist in implementing them.

How would you describe your time at The Home Depot?

I enjoyed my time with The Home Depot because it allowed me to learn more about retail sales and improve my skills in this area. As I progressed in my job skills, I was eventually able to train new employees and assist in other areas of the store (i.e. Special Services).

How would you describe your time at UCSB?

UCSB was a great balance of learning in and out of the classroom. My double-major allowed me to learn more about communication and society (as well as how they are intertwined) and apply what I learned in real life.
