I designed and prototyped a system for downloading telemetry from aircraft via a secured wireless network. The system was designed to support up to 8 GB of data per aircraft and up to 30 aircraft at a time. The system included a hand held computer to use as a backup for situations where wireless networking was unavailable. I designed and prototyped the hand held user interface with the compact .NET framework.

To certify the company's encryption hardware, I developed an automated testing framework in F#.

The search interface included some dynamic behaviors using Ajax, implemented with a combination of hand-coded Javacript, RJS templates, and Rails Javascript helpers. I also implemented the integration layer to the SOAP service.

Additional work included adding data sources to the Lucene indexes and adding functionality to the SOAP services.
