This was the perfect opportunity to learn ADP while temping. After being downsized from my previous company I immediately went to work for Robert Half in order to keep active and learn ADP since so many Long Island companies were looking for ADP experience.

Where I started my payroll career. Started as a payroll administrator and was promoted to the assistant payroll manager within six months and finally in 1980 was promoted to payroll manager. Waldbaums was purchased by the A&P Tea Company in 1991 and my position was finally eliminated in 1998. After going to Nassau full time during the evening and working full time for Waldbaums I decided to drop out of college after only one year. Looking back, I must admit this was a mistake.
