Developed, implemented, and evaluated digital audio compression algorithms for the MiniDisc.
Assisted in the development of Super Bit Mapping (SBM), which provides 20-bit perceptual sound quality on a normal 16-bit compact disc. Researched new areas of psychoacoustics and audio coding techniques.
