What path did you take to your current career?
I worked as a retail sales representative righ out of high school for a short time and then accepted a osition as a manager trainee with a commercial bank. I then took a straight commission job selling business machines. hen I went to work for Coca-Cola Usa as a territory manager relocating to West Vrginia I later received apromotion being transferred back to Pittsburgh to help launch the new Institutional Foodservice Division for Coke. Then I took my first position in the healthcare field selling brand name pharmaceuticals for a major international pharmaceutical company selling to cardiologists, primary care physicians, ob/gyns and retail outlets. I also had the responsibilityof selling a line of diagnostic kits and reagents to hospital labs. I was then offered a position selling a anti-neoplastic drug to oncologists/hematologists and providing them with the latest protocols for treating different types of malignancies. Additionally, I had the responsibility for seeing all such specialists in a three state area with the responsibility of wholesale management of product. I then accepted a position with a major manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals and playing a major role in the launch of a new wound dressing. I then started my own \manufacturers representative firm contacting manufacturers of medical devices negotiating with them to represent their products in a protected territory. I later started another company which I incorporated playing a major role in pioneering a newly forming industry in the healthcare field. I then founded my consulting firm helping physicians increase their cash flow and working with company heads internationally through telephone conferencing. I then accepted my current position working wth people who have been diagnosed with a sever mental illness oir who have dual addiction. My responsibility is to handle a caseload accessing them on a routine basis and seeing them weekly. I help to empower them to be a more productive person and consequently a more viable part of society...
