What was one of the biggest lessons you ever learned from being laid off?

That even when you think you're on top of the world and above everything, there's still work to be done, and done well. Never forget that anyone who works at someone else's will is only a few thoughts from being fired at any given moment.

I'm responsible for sales, customer service, and pushing the lawn mower. What began as a one-man show has become a several employee operation, but I still get out on the lawn whenever I get the chance.

Basically, I would go business-to-business with a dozen roses, selling them to employees and customers. Although my sales education came later, it was my first sales job and gave me the determination and fight that I would later need for success.

How would you describe your time at collin county community col...?

Philosophy has always fascinated me, but having the opportunity to explore it completely has been incredible. From here, I'm not sure whether I will pursue law school or earn my bachelors and continue in sales, but I believe it's a great building block for either direction in my life and career.
