How would you describe your time at Southgate Books and News?

Three of us worked at the store, one individual per shift. I loved that, because this left me with a great deal of responsibility and trust. I worked the register, assisted customers, did all the paperwork and counted out the drawer each night. I also cleaned and worked on the displays.

I enjoyed it. I am good at sales and working with people, so this made the job easy. When I left, my employers did not want to me to quit.

I like it, the professors are understanding and push you. I am getting my associates degree this summer, and transferring to Wayne State this fall and plan to major in Psychology.
