Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you?

My most influential mentor was my mother. She loved english and poetry. She was a mother of 13 cesearan born children. She also mothered many neighborhood children. She taught me to love God with all my heart and soul, and lean only to Him with faith in the time of need. She taught me perfect love cast out ALL fear. So I was a fearless child because I had perfect love for everyone. At the age of 18, I drove to New York city alone and stayed for four days. At 20, I traveled through Spain for a Summer. When I graduated from the University of Michigan, I traveled through Europe for 3 months alone. To date, I have traveled to 30 different countries. Many times alone. I never have experienced fear because I have perfect love. I love teaching, and I love my students.
