How would you describe your time at Tellabs?
Tellabs is a worldwide, well-established corporation providing telecommunications solutions. As an established customer of Bolton Group for over 10 years, I was retained as a contract recruiter for the Petaluma, CA and Dallas, TX facilities recruiting software and hardware engineers, managers, supply chain specialists, and program and product managers . Called on to also recruit for their intern program. Dealt with over 30 requisitions at one time, using PeopleClick database software. Recruiting,, interviewing, meeting with managers, and negotiating offers with candidates are part of the daily routine. Followed up with potential hires to assure background checks, drug testing and other offer processes were completed....

How would you describe your time at Bolton Group?
As executive recruiter of Bolton Group, I managed recruiting specialized in the telecom, datacom and networking industry. My duties included sourcing and recruiting engineers, managers, and marketing staff for our clients. Sourcing is done by searching the internet and databases, as well as cold calling, job fairs, and emailing potential candidates. Typical candidates would have skills in wireless and wired equipment, GSM, CDMA, ATM, SONET, ASIC, FPGA, VOIP, GPON, MPLS, RF, and other leading edge technologies . We also manage an internal resume database from our website as an additional recruiting tool. Candidates are phone screened before a client recommendation is made to provide excellent service to our clients.
My tasks include qualifying the resumes to a clients needs, entering them into the database and making arrangements for interviews. As part of the service, per our client's request, we often complete reference checks on the candidates. I will negotiate offers to the candidates, explaining the compensation and benefits package fully....
