- Analyzed the most significant influencing factors in epitaxial layer growth process, and constructed experimental design for layer thickness improvement. Statistical scripting
language R was used.
2. Statistical modeling of consumer's purchase frequency
- Applied the Hierarchical Bayes approach in modeling consumer's purchase frequency of non-durable goods and achieved more accurate fitting results than using conventional approaches.
3. SAS programming assistant
- Provided SAS programming (data management and analysis) for a national election survey.
- Taught SAS programming and prepared corresponding class materials for undergraduate sociology classes.

- Taught fundamental statistical concepts and applications to UCLA undergraduate students.
