This courthouse was unbelievably busy. I was mentored by a senior probation officer who was able to teach me more and give me more opportunities than my co-workers were given. I dealt with probationers on a daily basis, including those held in the lock-up. I assisted probationers with paperwork and assisted probation officers with their daily routines. This is the kind of environment that I can see myself making a career in....

I completed a five year program in four years while participating in two six-month co-op positions in the field of law and justice. These opportunities truly made me grow and see the comparisons between classwork and a career.
