How would you describe your time at techTribe?

Served as the sole QA employee in a small Web 2.0 startup with a development team of 6 people. Assisted the VP of Products with designing new features based on input from the CEO. Responsible for mockups for new features. This was an extremely fast-paced environment where releases took place at 4-5 week intervals. The product is the website http://www.techtribe.com. It is a social / business networking site marketed in India to young tech professionals with 4-6 years of experience and uses a referral reward model. How would you describe your time at newScale?

I joined newScale when it was a small startup of less than 20 employees and stuck with it as it grew to over 100 employees around the world. I also implemented and maintained the bug management system (Test Director). I was promoted from Sr. QA to a Product Manager near the end of my employment there. Configured, maintained and worked with a number of environments that included combinations of JBoss, WebSphere, Oracle, DB2 and SQLServer.

Helped develop the in-house software development lifecycle.
Frequently managed customer crisis situations.
Responsible for certifying internal builds for testing and releases to clients
Responsible for initial setup of offshore QA team in Bangalore, including hiring and educating new employees on both process and product.

How would you describe your time at Automotive Logistics Services?

ALS was a service provider for Daimler Chrysler, packaging and shipping of auto parts to Asia and South America. Each kit / lot contained parts to build 24-36 Jeeps.
My primary responsibility was to increase the efficiency of the entire process from the unloading of parts from suppliers down
to crating designs for filling 40-foot shipping containers. My accomplishments included reducing the number of shipping containers per lot, so that ALS won several new contracts from Daimler Chrysler.
Other responsibilities included traveling to client locations around the world to evaluate the quality of the auto parts as they arrived at their destinations, and entertaining clients at those locations.
