Managing global team in response to corporate information technology emergencies, including information security incidents, global systems outages, and system failures related to corporate wide crises.
- Leadership of information security / technology incident response crisis team encompassing 50 dedicated employees, scaleable to 6000 IT employees depending on the size of the incident. Project, drill, and service oriented leadership of business continuity and disaster recovery planning among disparate business groups including IT, manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, HR, and Legal. - Successful resolution of information security / technology crises (more than 100 incidents per year under my watch) with no material business impact. Incidents range from site/service specific issues up to global, enterprise outages; from physical disaster through complex information security issues including cyber attacks, infosec breaches, external vulnerability mitigation, legal e-discovery response, and legislative compliance needs. - Execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans on varied systems, infrastructure and geographies. Experienced ad hoc creation and execution of business continuity plans during information security and information technology incidents where plans have not been readily available. - Subject matter expert (SME) speaking at external engagements on the topics of corporate crisis response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and information security. Engagements include conferences, consultation with external Senior management, and issue specific solutions in the BC/EM/DR space. Approximately seven external engagements per year all with government agencies or Fortune 100 companies. - Project leadership for many enterprise-wide IT projects including Ediscovery compliance, forensic analysis, data management lifecycle, production of ESI (electronically stored information) documents, electronic chain of custody; IT technical pandemic planning; out-of-cycle, out-of-budget emergency procurement during crises; business impact analysis of systems outages and site loss; corporate IT legal e-discovery process creation and logistics....
