Solely developed a large-scale multiple-vendor online reservations and e-commerce system for the party booking industry using Ruby on Rails.

Responsible for all technical decisions from choice of platform, application design, and deployment resulting in hands-on experience with Ruby, Linux,
MySQL and SQL query optimization, caching, background processing, and unit testing.

Worked closely with clients to determine needs and provide and receive interactive feedback.
Originally associated with project through Perl work through Conquent, but was recruited by SelfService Systems to create their new project in Ruby on Rails due to the professionalism and expertise I brought to previous projects with them.
