How would you describe your time at City of Altamonte Springs?
An exciting time where I began in the Fire Dept. as an Executive Asst. and then became the Office Manager within 1 year, in charge of the administrative staff and their functions. I then worked in Building and Life Safety producing their Policies and Procedures. A short period in the Police Dept. I.S. working on police vehicle computers and associated technology. Then a project manager with the City I.S. dept. and then promoted to Deputy Director. An abundance of experienced gained which further enhanced my leadership and management skills....

Approached by my ex C.O. of SBS I was asked along with other ex RN personell to investigate and implement safety and security procedures including training to crew. This was an exciting time where I was able to utilize my 24 years of military experience in leadership and management.

How would you describe your time at Her Majesty's Royal Navy?
Successfully completed 24 years enlisted as Junior Seaman, retiring as Chief Petty Officer (Operations) (Radar). Served throughout the world both in overt and covert operations with multi national forces both ashore and at sea.
Seaman Radar Operator, rising through ranks to attain positions of responsibility.
Instructed at the RN School of Maritime Operations in aircraft control and radar operations.
Management of Search and Rescue Vessel (and associated shore support).
Operational Aircraft Controller (radar) for front line Naval Air Squadron. (Including Falkland Islands Campaign)
Manager of Senior Rates Mess (Accommodation etc.)
Retired with exemplary record and Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
This time in the service taught me the roots and importance of discipline and self management. I became a strong leader and rose through the ranks rapidly due to my determination and willingness to learn and adapt....
