A great district to work for in the field of education. Substituted different grade levels. I'm allowed to cover grades k-12 but so far have experiences the follow grades: kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grades. I have taught an ESL class as well (these were the 2nd graders).

A wonderful job opportunity to earn experience in the educational field with special ed students. Substitute teachers' classrooms that fall under the West End area of San Bernardino County, which is Chino, Chino Hills, Ontario, Montclair, Alta Loma, Rancho Cucamonga, Etiwanda, Upland, and Fontana.

Primarily focused my substitution experiences with students who are in preschool, emotionall disturbed, severely and profoundly handicapped, have mild/moderate/severe autism, have speech difficulties, and are deaf/hard of hearing.

I have learned so much about computers and how to use different programs such as Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, and Storyboard. These programs really help you, as a teacher, to set up your own teacher website or to help engage students to use your own teacher website to learn and communicate any concerns within the classroom. There is a great bridge between education and technology that has inspired me to use this field to help better my classroom management and environment as well. A superb university to achieve your BA at. Professors were all very nice, helpful, and well-knowledgeable in their field. There are many new types of classes available there as well such as "online" classes. This is one very innovative university that has helped make learning at Cal Poly Pomona easier and enjoyable. I appreciated the great activiites that they offered at this college. I was able to take part in one club and be part of many social events. Cal Poly Pomona has a great reputation for their academia.
